How This Board Works

The feed. Prices come from the live interbank gold and silver market (XAU/USD and XAG/USD) — the same feed trading desks watch. When that market ticks, this board ticks.

The conversion. USD per ounce divided by 31.1035 grams, multiplied by 3.674 (the dirham peg), gives AED per gram. The bar premium is then added — that covers refining, packing, and having the bar physically in Deira.

The confirmation. The board moves all day. When you are ready, send the product and quantity on WhatsApp and we confirm a number with you. That confirmed price is the deal — not the board.

Rate Board Questions

Why is your gold rate different from the Google spot price?+
Google shows the raw spot price in USD per ounce. Our board converts it to AED per gram and adds the physical premium for packed bars in Deira Gold Souq, so our number is closer to what a bar actually costs in hand.
What is the difference between bid and ask on this board?+
Bid is the side we reference when buying from you; ask is the side when you buy from us. The AED gram prices on this board are built from the ask side plus the bar premium.
What is a TT bar?+
A ten-tola bar — 116.64 grams of 999 gold. It is the most traded bar size in Dubai Gold Souq and the one most counters quote by default.
Do these prices include VAT?+
Investment-grade gold bars (99.5% purity and above) are zero-rated for VAT in the UAE, so the gold bar prices here are what you pay. Silver carries 5% VAT, which is added on the final quote.
Why does the board say "Updating" instead of "Live"?+
It means the feed has not ticked in the last couple of minutes — usually a weekend, market holiday, or a brief reconnect. Treat the numbers as the last known level and confirm on WhatsApp before trading.
